KDZA Radio and KQSC Radio (collectively referred to as the “Stations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
KDZA Radio is owned by Colorado Radio Marketing and operated by Mountain Radio Group Inc. under a Local Marketing Agreement (LMA).
KQSC Radio is owned by Mountain Radio Group Inc.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information obtained through our websites, online promotions, contests, mobile communications, and other digital services.
This policy applies to digital services operated by the Stations, including KDZA Radio’s Alexa Skill, where applicable.

- Participate in the KDZA Birthday Club.

4. KDZA Birthday Club
The KDZA Birthday Club allows listeners to submit birthday announcements for broadcast.
Information collected may include the birthday person’s name, city or town, requested announcement date, and a contact email address.
Birthday names and cities or towns may be announced publicly on the air.
Contact email addresses are collected for administrative purposes and are not included in birthday announcements.
By submitting a birthday announcement, you confirm that you have permission to provide the information.
Parents or legal guardians should submit birthday announcements on behalf of children.
The Stations reserve the right to review, decline, or remove submissions that are incomplete, inappropriate, or otherwise unsuitable for broadcast.
5. Contests, Giveaways, and Promotions
KDZA and KQSC may conduct contests, giveaways, and promotions, including the KDZA Christmas Rock Scavenger Hunt.
Information collected through these activities may be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact winners, award prizes, and fulfill applicable legal requirements.
Personal information may be shared with contest sponsors when necessary to administer a promotion or fulfill a prize.
When a contest involves sharing participant information with a sponsor, the applicable official contest rules will describe that arrangement.
Mobile information and text messaging opt-in consent are subject to the additional restrictions described in Section 9.
Contest winners’ names, hometowns, photographs, or other information may be publicized when permitted by the applicable contest rules and law.

6. Advertising and Business Communications
Our websites may feature advertisements, sponsorships, promotional messages, and links to businesses that advertise with the Stations.

We do not currently send marketing newsletters to listeners.

We do not provide listener contact information to advertisers simply because they advertise with the Stations.

9. Mobile Messaging & SMS Privacy
KDZA Radio and KQSC Radio respect the privacy of listeners who communicate with us through text messaging or other mobile services.
If you provide your mobile telephone number to participate in a contest, communicate with a station, or receive text messages, we may use that information for the specific purpose for which it was provided.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers or text messaging consent information with advertisers or sponsors for their marketing purposes.
Where supported by the applicable messaging service, listeners may opt out of receiving text messages by replying STOP.

10. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our websites may contain links to advertisers, sponsors, streaming services, social media platforms, and other third-party websites.
These websites and services operate independently and may have their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

11. Children’s Privacy
Our websites and online services are intended for a general audience.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement or consent.
Parents or legal guardians may submit birthday announcements on behalf of children through the KDZA Birthday Club.
